The Massacre of the Innocents
Herod was the King of Judea. He heard about the birth of Jesus and wanted him killed as he feared one day Jesus would take his throne.
When he failed to find Jesus, Herod ordered the death of all newborn baby boys, believing Jesus would be among them. This event is known as the "Massacre of the Innocents."
