Over half of U.S. believe Kennedy assassination part of larger plot

 

Polling questions about a Kennedy conspiracy have been documented since the day of the shooting.

 

A poll taken immediately after the murder found that 52 percent of Americans believed “others were involved in a conspiracy” while 29 percent thought Oswald acted alone.

In a November 2022 international poll, the majority of people surveyed (31%) said they thought the CIA was primarily responsible for planning Kennedy's assassination.

Bendixen & Amandi International Poll (November 14th-Novermber 22nd, 2022): 2,000 people were asked, "Do you think that one man, Lee Harvey Oswald, was responsible for the assassination of President John F Kennedy, or do you think that others were involved in a conspiracy?"
