The Full Story

Nathan Rothschild

Nathan Mayer Rothschild (1777-1836) was an English-German banker, businessman and financier. He was the third of the five sons of Mayer Amschel Rothschild and was of the second generation of the Rothschild banking dynasty.

By 1815, Nathan Mayer Rothschild controlled the Bank of England and boldly declared,

"I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain's money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply."

This became the Rothschild family's mantra—control the world by controlling the world's money supply.
